Dota 2 seems to be a more intensive graphic game compared to League of Legends. By the way in a game against BOTS I set all the graphic options at the maximum possible in fullscreen with the native resolution and the frame rate was about 45/50fps. Using a scaled resolution at 1440p It reached 60fps. League of Legends, hands down the most popular MOBA ever created, is also having issues with macOS Catalina. According to Riot Games, the game’s developer, macOS Catalina is possibly preventing new players to install the game. If you already have League of Legends for Mac installed on your machine, you should be fine. The multiplayer online battle game League of Legends has remained incredibly popular since it first launched back in 2009. But now there's set to be another game carrying its name that has the potential to be even more popular.

As Windows Central reports, Riot Games has very quietly revealed that it's working on a League of Legends massively-multiplayer online game (MMO). I say very quietly because it was revealed in a twitter thread by Riot vice president Greg Street. Street's initial tweet announced how his job recently at Riot had been to develop the League universe, but that, 'My new job is to kick off a big (some might say massive) game that many of you, and many Rioters, have been asking us to create.'

Use of the word 'massive' led to one response by Twitter user Richelle asking if the new game is an MMO, to which Street responded 'It is an MMO.' And for now that seems to be all we are getting, no details, no timeline, just confirmation Riot is now working on an MMO set in the League universe.

Last year was League of Legends' 10th anniversary and during the celebrations Riot revealed two new projects were in the works set in the League universe. They were referred to as Project A and Project F. Project A turned out to be team-based shooter Valorant, but Project F remained a mystery. This MMO is probably Project F, as at the time it was described as 'a project that explores the possibilities of traversing the world of Runeterra with your friends,' but Riot has yet to confirm it is.

MMOs are notoriously difficult to make money from unless they go the free-to-play route, which seems very likely. They also take a very long time to develop, but League of Legends certainly isn't going to disappear and Riot has a new single-player League of Legends game launching next year called Ruined King. The developer clearly has the time and resources it needs to hit the ground running with an MMO when it's ready.
